Equipment rental

Should you rent locally or bring your own?

Can't find the equipment you need?

Story Productions understands that renting equipment locally is often the easiest and most effective solution for a shoot in Brazil. We can advise on equipment needs and source everything you may need locally. If you opt to bring your own gear, be aware that the ATA Carnet is no longer accepted in Brazil. The Story team will keep you informed on the e-DBV process and the latest procedures.

Therefore, when an international crew plans to bring filming and sound recording equipment into the country, they now need to complete the e-DBV, an “Electronic Declaration of Traveller’s Goods”. Read more on bringing camera equipment into Brazil.
