Need to find the perfect location?

From the streets of Brazil’s biggest cities to deserted beaches and remote forests, Story Productions can find the perfect location for a shoot. Our production units in São Paulo, Manaus and Porto Alegre research and scout location options across the country and provide clients with extensive recce reports, including detailed photography and logistical research. 


Our fixers arrange the appropriate permits to film on location, whether through a private landowner or a federal or municipal authority, working hard to get the right price. We can also arrange ANCINE visas for visiting crews.

TRAVELING TO BRAZIL WITH FILM EQUIPMENT

As of January 1 2022, the rules have changed and the ATA Carnet is no longer accepted in Brazil. Therefore, when an international crew plans to bring filming and sound recording equipment into the country, they now need to complete the e-DBV, an “Electronic Declaration of Traveller’s Goods”.
